I am new in the blogging business, the first thing I do is to post to hosted blogs, I decided I should only work on wordpress based blogs, as we all know that WordPress is ideal for almost all kinds of blogging needs, people even use it as CMS, together with Open Source License make the WordPress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.
Lately I figured that I should build my own blogs and promote them, subsequently I can use my own blogs to promote my other websites, and I think its not a patentable idea, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, obviously I will have to pay the owner to use their blogs, probably not cheap at all.
If you have tried to maintain a few different blogs you will know its not easy, if you’re not using your blogs as spamming device, the real content writing is time and money consuming, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. Check out a couple of interesting blogs, look at this one, Calling Card, it’s name is pretty cute, the content on the site is not bad, though its not a theme focused blog, you’ll find all kinds of different posts there. One more example, Trucking All The Way, this blog is themed, all topics are about same theme, there are a few well ranked keywords for this blog. Its easy to show more similar sites, but I believe you get the idea. One more important point, in your little net you should have some loose blogs, put some random content on those blogs occasionally, take one blog as example, Lift Dolly, doing this right you will have a natural blogging networks.
After you successfully build a few blogs, add more blogs when you can, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, get your own little blog network going is not that too difficult. Of course its just the beginning, to build a successful network will be much more complicated, follow the white hat tricks and ethic codes of online conduct you will be fine.
